Can AI crawlers read your site?
Enter a public website. Within a few seconds you get a pass, warning or fail for each check on this page.
This measures how readable your site is for AI crawlers, not whether ChatGPT recommends you.

What this check looks at
A title passes at 30–65 characters and a meta description at 120–160. Shorter or longer is a warning. Missing is a fail. One H1 passes, none fails, and more than one is a warning.
- robots.txt for GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, ClaudeBot, Claude-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, Applebot-Extended, CCBot. Allowed to fetch the homepage is a pass. Blocked is a fail. If robots.txt cannot be read, that row is a warning.
- Whether /llms.txt exists. Missing is a warning. A file on its own does not mean an assistant will cite you.
- JSON-LD types on the homepage. None is a warning. Crawlers can still read the page text.
- The title, the H1 and the meta description, with the length ranges above.
- Whether a business name, a street address or postcode, and a phone number appear in the homepage text. The name is only confirmed when structured data on the page also contains it. This is not a Google listing check.

Common questions
- Does this tell me if ChatGPT recommends my business?
- No. This measures how readable your site is for AI crawlers, not whether ChatGPT recommends you. It checks robots.txt for the AI bots named on this page, whether /llms.txt exists, which JSON-LD types the homepage has, the title, the H1 and the meta description, and whether a business name, address and phone appear on the homepage.
- Which pages does the check open?
- Only the homepage, /robots.txt and /llms.txt on the address you enter. It does not open other pages, it does not sign in, and it does not use Google Places or any paid API.
- Do you store the page you fetch?
- No. The result is shown on this page and the fetched content is discarded. Nothing from the check is written to a database. Your IP address is kept in memory only long enough to limit repeat checks.
- What do pass, warning and fail mean?
- Pass means the check found what it looked for. A warning means something was missing, outside the length range stated above, or could not be read. Fail means an AI bot is blocked from the homepage, or, when the homepage was read, that the title, H1 or meta description is missing. It is not a ranking and not a promise that an AI assistant will mention you.
